IBM 520q
I installed and upgraded the inventory and payroll servers in the Stop & Shop grocery store chain..
I transfered all the data from the old server to the new IBM 520q, then did the physical migration of the new server. Afterwards I did testing with store management and the help desk, fixing any problems that may have occured during the migration
Hentis 915 IVR
I installed the Hentis 915 in the Stop & Shop grocery stores with pharmacies.
The old server in the stores with pharmacies also controlled the IVR. I would do a data migration of customer info onto the new Hentis 915, do the physical migration and then test the new system with the pharmacist and help desk, fixing any problems that may have occured during the migration.
Magellan Scanner/Scale
Installation of new Magellan Scanner Scales in the Shop Rite grocery store chain.
In this project I removed the old scanners and scale displays from various manufacturers and replaced them with the new Magellan scanner scales, running the cables through the checkout stands and in some cases altering the stands to make the new scanners fit properly.
Verifone Pinpad
Cabling of new power supply for Verifone Pinpads in the Shop Rite self checkout stands.
In this project I had to open the self checkout stands and run new cables for the Verifone Pinpad power supply. When I was done with that I had to reprogram the pinpad to accept the new power supply.
Home Computer Repair
Mostly Mac based home computer repair.
I have also done some various home computer repair. Mostly software based and involving Apple computers, but I have done some physical repair and Windows based software and hardware repair as well.
